Peninsula Valdes is the most important protected area. Whales and elephant seals are the main attraction. This tour is available all year round. Whale season: from middle June to middle December

This tour visits the most important Natural Reserve of the Argentinian coast.

First stop: Ameghino Visitors Center, located at the entrance of Peninsula Valdes.

From a view point, you can appreciate the geographical characteristics of this Natural Reserve: the Golfo Nuevo and San Jose at the same moment as well as the Birds Island.

From this spot, we continue with the tour towards the only village at Península Valdes: Puerto Pirámides. This small port, is the only one from where the vessels are authorized to go on a whale watching from June to December.

Usually breezy in the morning, Puerto Piramides offers an outstanding image, with its clear waters and white cliffs, protecting the small beach. For the beauty its environment, is the perfect place to rest, swim, dive and get fun at nature during the summer.

After visiting this port, we keep going to the Atlantic Ocean: Caleta Valdes is the next stop.

Crossing the steppe, going through 80 km. on a gravel road, watching the endemic land fauna, such as guanacos, choiques and maras and about 90 min later we arrive to the most representative geographical feature in Peninsula Valdes: the inlet where there’s an important colony of elephants seals. The giants of the sea, rest on the pebble beach, saving energy, offering us an unique spectacle of animals and natural sorroundings.
