CHUBUT RIVER - VALLEY

CHUBUT RIVER - VALLEY
Welsh history. Gaiman. Paleontological museum. Dolphins. All year long
After picking up the passengers from their accommodations, we will take Route 3 towards the Lower Valley of the Chubut River. Our first stop will be at the replica of the world's largest dinosaur (photo opportunity).
In the city of Trelew, passengers will have the option to visit the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum (MEF), a scientific research and exhibition center located in Trelew. Those who choose not to visit the museum will have free time in Trelew or may visit another attraction such as the Moriah Chapel.
We then continue on to Dolavon. In this small and picturesque town, we’ll take a city tour and later visit the La Mercante Regional Museum (free entrance), to learn more about the history of the area's early businesses.
Next, we’ll visit a fine fruit farm (raspberries and strawberries). Guided by the owners, we’ll learn about the history of the place and view the crops. Passengers will have the opportunity to purchase regional products such as jams and craft beer.
We then head to Gaiman ("House of Stone" in Welsh). After a city tour of the town to enjoy its unique architecture and beauty, we will visit one of its famous Welsh tea houses. Welsh Tea is a traditional family custom that includes tea served with typical Welsh black cake, cream tart, walnut cake, apple pie, chocolate cake with cream, and fruit tarts, along with regional jams and butter, scones, and homemade bread.
Note: The excursion may be combined with a visit to Playa Unión to observe Commerson's dolphins (not included), depending on weather conditions. In this case, the visit to Dolavon is replaced with a visit to Rawson/Playa Unión.
